Dr Grace O'Connor

Dr Grace O’Connor graduated from the University of Queensland in 2021 and brings a strong hospital background to her work in general practice. During her time at Ipswich Hospital, Dr Grace gained valuable experience in intensive care and emergency medicine, developing confidence in managing acute and complex medical presentations.
Dr Grace has a particular interest in complex and chronic disease management, including multimorbidity, polypharmacy, and care coordination. She also enjoys managing acute presentations and providing urgent care within the general practice setting.
Her other areas of interest include preventive health and screening, such as cardiovascular risk assessment and supporting patients to address lifestyle risk factors. Dr Grace is especially passionate about caring for medically complex patients, including those with multiple conditions or recent hospital admissions.
Dr Grace is committed to providing culturally safe, patient-centred care. She values clear communication, shared decision-making, and ensuring patients feel informed, supported, and empowered in their healthcare journey.
Dr Grace is a RACGP Registrar, completing specialist GP training within the practice.
