If you would like to schedule an appointment, please contact us on (07) 3564 6400 or you can make a quick and easy appointment through our website. You can book appointments online easily at any time of day or night. To stay up to date with our practice, follow us on our Facebook page. Most of our standard appointments last for 10 minutes. If you think you need more time with one of our doctors please advise reception staff of this. Where possible, we will always try to ensure that we can find a suitable appointment time with your preferred doctor. Please be aware that emergencies will be given priority, however, if this situation should occur when you are scheduled to attend the practice, our staff will ensure every effort is made to contact you.
Weekend appointments are available at our sister practice, Turbot Street Medical Centre
Here at Racecourse Village Medical Centre, our team is committed to ensuring that you receive the best care possible, which is why all of our staff members are highly experienced in the medical environment. Our highly experienced nurses work at the direction of the Doctors at the clinic and will assist in providing comprehensive coordinated healthcare services. If you have any questions about your appointment or any fees, you can speak to our friendly and experienced administration team.
Due to a high demand of appointments at Racecourse Village Medical Centre, we do ask that if for any reason you are unable to attend your scheduled consultation that you notify us as soon as possible to allow others the opportunity for an appointment. We require a minimum of 2 hours notice if you are not able to attend your appointment, otherwise a did not attend fee of $50 will be applied.
You will need to make an appointment with one of our doctors in order to get a repeat prescription or a referral to a specialist. This includes renewed referrals.
You can arrange a telephone consultation (either by calling our reception team or by booking online) and our doctor can call you to discuss what you require. We can then fax or email the documents as necessary.
If you have a problem, we would like to hear about it. Please feel free to talk to your doctor or our practice nurse. We take our patients compliments, concerns, suggestions and complaints seriously. However, if you wish to take the matter further and feel that you need to discuss the matter outside of the surgery, please phone the Office of the Health Ombusdman on 133 646 or go to their website to find out more.
QML Pathology is conveniently located within the practice. Due to the COVID situation they are currently closed at the practice temporarily.
